More than twice a 5x7
An 8x10 has 80 square inches of print area versus 35 for a 5x7, giving faces and fine detail substantially more visual presence.
The Gallery
The statement size for a favorite portrait, wedding photograph, or detailed print. An 8x10 creates enough image area to hold attention from across a room while keeping the same beaded Frapery profile.

Most camera images are wider than an 8x10 print. Preview the 4:5 crop and leave breathing room around heads, hands, and the edge of the scene.
Use an 8x10 as the largest frame in a mixed arrangement, then support it with 5x7 and 4x6 photos using consistent spacing.
“8x10” describes the photo opening rather than the full outside measurement. Account for the beaded border and the depth of the easel stand, especially when placing it below a television or on a shallow mantel.
